The East Ridge City Garage maintains the city's fleet of vehicles and special equipment including backhoes and tractors, as well as passenger cars and trucks. The city garage employs a supervisor and three mechanic/welders to perform routine maintenance, preventive maintenance and both major and minor repairs. Fleet Services also maintains the city's fuel reserves (gasoline and diesel) stored in several different locations.
City Garage Supervisor Jackie Cagle oversees the day-to-day operations of fleet services and reports to the Public Safety Director.
