East Ridge Animal Services is a branch of Codes Enforcement, which is a division of the Department of Public Safety. Animal Services was created to provide the citizens of East Ridge with fast and courteous animal control services and humane shelter. The East Ridge Animal Shelter is a Tennessee State Certified Animal Control Agency and all officers are state and national certified.
Animal Control services are provided 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Visit our shelter here.
Regular shelter hours are: Monday-Friday 10am to 5pm. Saturday 10am to 2pm
Weekends & holidays only emergency calls are answered. For after hour emergency please call East Ridge Police dispatch @ 622-1725.
East Ridge Animal Services is a member of the National Animal Control Association, Tennessee Animal Control Association, ASPCA, and the Humane Society of the United States.
East Ridge Animal Services operates a rescue friendly shelter. We gladly welcome citizens and all rescue groups to come by and visit with us at anytime. We have had several rescue groups visit; they thanked us for being so friendly and helpful. We could not help these animals without the help from our hard working rescue groups.
