All fire apparatus are equipped to operate independently in the event of multiple incidents. Each engine company carries its on supply and attack hose, electric generator and floodlights, smoke fans and other tools and equipment. All of the vehicles are also equipped with self-contained breathing apparatus. The first out engine in each district carries a thermal imaging camera for locating fire and possible victims in heavy smoke and total darkness conditions.
Each squad company carries gas detectors; foam and absorbent for hazardous materials incidents, as well as a specialized unit devoted to hazardous materials calls.

First out on all fires, emergency medical, traffic accidents, and hazardous materials incidents in District 1 and specialized incidents City-wide.
Rescue engine, 1250 GPM pumper, 600 gallon tank, In-line foam, portable winch, Hydraulic "jaws of life" rescue tools, gas detectors and radiological monitors. First out on all fires, emergency medical, traffic accidents, and hazardous materials incidents in District 2.
Attack engine, 1,250 GPM pumper, 1,000 gallon tank, and portable hydrant manifold.

4 wheel drive F-250, Command Post vehicle/Shift Commands vehicle. Responding city-wide, carrying fire and medical, command board, mass casualty kits, pre-fire plans, extra portable radios, supplies and fire support equipment.
55 foot Aerial ladder, 1,250 GPM pumper, 500 gallon tank. Responds to all structure fires citywide. Also responds to specialized rescue situations.
Fire Support Service Company. Carries extra medical supplies and ISO service company equipment.
Hazardous Materials Unit, carries basic equipment for hazardous materials operations and also carries a supply of AFFF Foam.
4-wheel drive Jeep Cherokee-light rescue-medical unit. Carries medical/trauma equipment and water rescue equipment. Assigned as backup emergency unit.
4-wheel drive Jeep Cherokee-light rescue-medical unit. Carries medical/trauma equipment and water rescue equipment. Assigned as back-up emergency medical unit in District 2.
Specialized amphibious rescue unit. Unit can travel on land, water and rough terrain. Used as specialized rescue unit for flood evacuations, severe storm, ice or snow storm response. This unit is capable of carrying multiple victims either sitting up or on stretchers/backboards.

Rescue boats. Used for water rescue/flood evacuation.
